A place of tranquillity and charm, Grade II listed Woodborough Hall has been lovingly restored to its former glory and offers an atmospheric dining experience. Situated in the idyllic village of Woodborough, just a ten-minute drive from Nottingham city centre, Woodborough Hall boasts both formal and casual dining options as well as catering for a range of private functions, from civil wedding ceremonies to birthday celebrations. Woodborough Hall also provides state-of-the-art conference facilities within its private function and meeting rooms, offering all the technical facilities required for modern-day business.
Head chef Des Sweeney promises a varied and exciting menu, with a choice of dining experiences within the à la carte restaurant and brasserie. You might find whole roast Gressingham duck, with Calvados and apple sauce, carved at the table; confit of glazed pork belly with wholegrain mustard sauce and braised red cabbage; or poached haddock served on a bed of buttered spinach with a soft-poached egg and Hollandaise sauce. An adventurous and sophisticated option is the tasting menu – a nine-course menu of delightful gastronomic creations.
The lounge is open from 9.30am for both coffee and tea. Woodborough Hall is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, so there’s every opportunity to sample this elegant dining experience.
