After 26 years as manager, Mark Chapman took ownership of the business in 2013, and now runs the hotel with his wife Jayne. Light snacks and homecooked meals are available at lunchtime, while the à la carte menu is served in the evening. Upstairs, all six en-suite rooms are equipped with televisions, Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities, making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The Rising Sun offers a choice of double, twin and family rooms, and can also take bookings for weddings, christenings and other events.
