The two restaurants each have their own unique character, whilst providing consistently high levels of service and the same fabulous menus. The Hertford venue in the historic ‘Egyptian house’ has an exterior decorated with winged sun-discs, with an elegant interior ideal for intimate evenings. Meanwhile, the St Albans site boasts an idyllic location close to the beautiful cathedral, with alfresco seating and stylish decor; it’s no wonder it was named ‘Best Local Restaurant’ at the St Albans Food & Drink Festival Awards.
Lussmanns restaurants offer a variety of quality menus, including the great-value seasonal set menu at just £10.95 for two courses. Sample handmade ravioli stuffed with creamy ricotta and earthy radicchio, followed by invigorating iced berries – luxury dishes at fantastic prices. The finest produce is showcased in seasonal specials such as South Coast devilled sprats, wild rabbit and apricot terrine and linguine with pea shoots, lemon zest and goat’s cheese from nearby Wobbly Bottom Farm. Lussmanns also offer a ‘Junior’ menu, mobile catering and private-event hire at all their wonderful venues.
