Along Shirley’s busy High Street, you’ll discover an Oriental oasis. Little Buddha is a stylish Chinese restaurant, easily recognisable by the exterior’s luminescent blue logo. Step inside and the interior is light and modern with wooden floors and elegant decor – cosy for an intimate dinner for two, or spacious enough to cater for larger groups.

As well as an à la carte menu, customers are invited to eat as much as they like from Little Buddha’s extensive and freshly cooked buffet, with 75 lunchtime dishes and 95 evening dishes to choose from. You can order two appetisers or main course dishes at a time, as many times as you like. Portions are reasonably sized, to deter people who over enthusiastically order too much and then are not able to consume it all. Like any good restaurant, the Little Buddha team are keen that the food is eaten rather than going to waste, and a good thing too, as the food is delicious.

Our starters and main courses were beautifully presented and very filling. With an excellent range of traditional Chinese dishes, attentive service, plus an elegant and simple to use menu, this was an enjoyable meal in stylish surroundings.
