Rossopomodoro Chelsea was the first of the Rossopomodoro group to open in London, bringing the authentic Neapolitan pizza to this great city. Since its beginning it has been very popular with the large Italian community of Chelsea and over time it has become a favourite of this beautiful area of London.
With its buzzy atmosphere, diverse crowd, stylish and modern decor, open-plan kitchen and woodburning oven, this restaurant is always fun to visit for a taste of authentic Italy - and of course, it is a great location for a great meal. Pizzas are a traditional signature dish, but Rossopomodoro Chelsea is also well known and loved by locals for its daily pasta with fish specials. But if you're in the mood for pizza, then it's here that Rossopomodoro comes into its own; the pizzas here are lavished with vivid and chunky toppings. Sample the Milanese pizza, with a mozzarella, pan-fried aubergine and cherry tomato, Parmesan and basil topping. Finish off your experience with a dolci cassatella: ricotta cheese ice cream with dark chocolate shavings and candied oranges, served with a crunchy biscuit.
The restaurant has two floors and the spacious second-floor room makes it a very popular venue for hosting birthday parties or business lunch meetings. Rossopomodoro Chelsea is excellent for peoplewatchers, thanks to the great view onto Fulham Road through the massive windows.
