The English Curry Awards named Shimla Spice in Shipley Best Indian Restaurant for 2013-2014, but this restaurant has been scooping up awards since it was first founded by three brothers back in 1998. Basharat, Mo and Mahmood all boasted successful culinary careers on the London dining scene before heading back to their home-county, Yorkshire, to open their own restaurant – Shimla Spice in Keighley. The Shipley venue soon opened, following instant success in Keighley.
