The Street has been a favourite on the Edinburgh’s nightlife scene for 15 years. Situated in the city centre with a broad range of shops, a cinema and the Edinburgh Playhouse all in close proximity, this quirky bar serves international street food from noon until midnight daily. Boasting two outside seating areas, The Street is a fantastic place to grab a morning coffee and snack, lunch and a glass of wine during the day, or share an antipasti platter with Prosecco and graze into the night in fun and sociable surrounds. Choose from artisan toasties, loaded nachos, dirty fries, or bowls of homemade fiery beef or vegetarian chilli.
Offering a range of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, shakes and smoothies, and boasting a regular events calendar, this bar has something for everyone. The entertainment schedule begins on Mondays with Glamoor, The Kweer Kabaret. Every Wednesday, a game show night called Prize Surprize is packed with hilarious games and a cash jackpot. Tuesdays and Thursdays see D’Elders, LouLou on the decks from 9pm until 1pm; every Friday and Saturday night, The Street’s basement transforms into a buzzing nightclub and attracts a livelier crowd. The nightclub is open until 3am and is accessed from Broughton Street after 1am. On a Friday night, resident DJ Trendy Wendy hosts The Wendy House, and the Saturday line-up features some of Scotland’s most popular DJs. Fortnightly Saturdays play host to MFSB – Edinburgh’s only daytime disco. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday selected cocktails are only £5 each.
