iOLLA

Located within the three-star Royal Ettrick Hotel, just a short distance south of the historic Old Town, iOLLA is a fantastic bar and restaurant serving top-notch food and drink. Food is served all day, with restaurant dining in the evening, and during the summer visitors can dine al fresco in the private garden.
The menu covers a wide selection of traditional favourites, including homemade burgers, sharing platters, pies, steaks, pasta and vegetarian options, as well as a children’s menu, hot and cold lunch options and cooked breakfasts that are served until noon. To top off iOLLA’s offering, the accompanying bar serves a range of drinks including beer, lager, local whisky and spirits, in addition to a diverse wine list.
Recently refurbished, iOLLA is a great spot for anything from corporate events and small birthday parties to casual dinners. The kitchen can cater for functions of up to 100 people, while the Conservatory Bistro is a lovely area in which to enjoy a quiet meal. The hotel itself is the ideal place to experience Edinburgh without the hassle of staying right in the city centre, and boasts ample off-street parking (not always available in such a busy city), easy public transport links and a great range of facilities including free Wi-Fi via fibre optic broadband.
