The Forth Floor Restaurant
Fine Dining

The stunning Forth Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols offers the best in contemporary dining. The interior combines textures of wood and leather with a classic colour palette of claret and walnut, while floor-to-ceiling windows afford unparalleled views over the city. The Forth Floor now also offers exclusive private dining for sophisticated entertaining.
This eponymous Edinburgh restaurant focuses on classic Scottish food with a contemporary twist, fusing traditional techniques with exciting flavours. Placing emphasis on using the freshest ingredients and highest-quality locally sourced produce, starters include hand-dived scallops with chorizo and chicken boudin with roasted red pepper relish and a caper and dill dressing. Mains such as the roasted Inverurie lamb chump served with garden pea risotto, honey-glazed carrots and mint, are equally mouth-watering. Heavenly desserts include baked Alaska accompanied by banana parfait, chocolate cookie and chocolate ice cream. Those who can’t make up their minds might opt for the tasting menu, which showcases six exquisite à la carte dishes. A luxury afternoon tea is also served Sunday and Monday between noon and 4pm, and every other day from 3pm-4pm, although booking in advance is required. The more casual Forth Floor Bar offers chic leather sofas, subtle lighting and chilled-out music to make it one of the most luxurious drinking dens in Edinburgh – enjoy decadent Champagne, fine wine and irresistible cocktails.
