Burgers & Beers Grillhouse
Burgers

Stepping into Burgers and Beers Grillhouse the atmosphere is buzzing – and it’s easy to see why. The rustic, industrial-style setting features solid wood, bare light bulbs and plenty of metal details, providing a stylish backdrop to the mouth-watering US-inspired fare on offer. Tables for two are nestled in cosy corners, while long leather benches play host to a large group feasts.
The menu is stacked with mouth-watering comfort food, from barbecue chicken skewers and hotdogs to corn on the cob and the most succulent burgers – everything invites you to tuck in. We shared a starter of cheesy nachos, which was piled high with homemade salsa, sour cream, guacamole and jalapeños and provided a fantastic opening to the meal. The selection of burgers is varied and impressive, ranging from juicy Aberdeen Angus beefburgers and succulent grilled chicken from Buffalo Farm in Fife, to delicious vegan patties, all of which go hand in hand with two-pint steins. I opted for the Independence Day burger comprising American-style cheese, Virginia sweet-cured bacon, lettuce, dirty mayo and deep-fried pickles, while my partner chose the Rocky Balboa stacked with Scottish blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, onion, cracked black pepper and mayonnaise. Both burgers were incredible – the quality of the ingredients was evident in every mouth-watering bite. We finished things off with an indulgent cookie dough cheesecake and a dram of Knob Creek bourbon. With fantastic food, great service and a lively atmosphere, a visit to Burgers & Beers Grillhouse is a must.
