Edinburgh's most colourful restaurant has to be 10 to 10 In Delhi. It's decorated from floor to ceiling - indeed, even on the ceiling - with extremely bright and vibrant rugs, throws and curtains, and the seats have plump and comfortable cushions too. It all goes towards creating the intimate atmosphere that this cosy restaurant cultivates so well.
Those in the know visit 10 to 10 for the exceptionally well-made chai tea, as it's said to be the best in Edinburgh. Meanwhile, the small but perfectly formed food menu offers incredible value across all dishes offered. Take, for example, the mixed platter for two (which also has a vegetarian counterpart): for £14.95, you get an assortment of chatpata, chana masala, chicken masala, vegetable pakora, mixed vegetable curry, aloo palak, rice and naan bread served with salad, yoghurt sauce, two glasses of juice and a slice of mango cheesecake.
