Right in the centre of Nottingham on Lower Parliament Street, these lads offer great cuisine and a taste of real Aussie hospitality, too. Drawing on over 40 years of experience, they have put together a menu of authentic delights from Down Under.
While Graeme looks after the front of house, offering a welcoming smile and a great range of beer, wine and ale (including one specially brewed variety named after the inn's hosts), Aussie chef Tony V is the man behind the menu. Many of his dishes are directly inspired by his published cook book and named in tribute to celebrities, with a view to bringing a little humour to the dinner table. You might sample the Jason Donovan - a beef burger with egg, cheese and bacon, served with his signature fries - or the Ed Devereaux; kangaroo rump wrapped in bacon and cooked in lime juice and white wine.
Summer, of course, sees real Aussie alfresco barbecues taking place from Wednesday to Sunday, as well as cabaret shows every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and karaoke on Wednesday and Sunday evenings
