It would not be easy to find a better place to enjoy a drink on a summer's evening than Via Fossa - located in a re-developed warehouse in the city's Castle Wharf next to the canal.
Inside gothic décor meets modern design, with plenty of private booths for those who favour intimate dining and drinking. The menus offer a huge variety, from lite bites such as nachos and fries for sharing as well as a selection of traditional main meals. These include steaks, salads, burgers sandwiches and jacket potatoes all at reasonable prices.
Alongside runs the two course offer which at £8.50, including a glass of house wine, is great value for money. Popular with both shoppers and businesses the choices include home made delicacies such as salmon and asparagus parfait, mushroom linguine, seafood risotto and bacon, brie and mango parcels.
Home made bread and butter pudding or cheesecake complement this mouth-watering selection.
