Described as a ‘Mediterranean culinary voyage’, the Le Kesh experience is one that should be sampled first-hand. A relaxing ambience is enhanced by soft lighting courtesy of pretty Moroccan lamps and fl ickering candlelight, by which guests can peruse a superb menu. This includes starters of sabanikh bizet – slow-cooked spinach and onions in tomato sauce – and grilled aubergine purée with sesame oil and lemon juice. The lamb tagine spiced with prunes and almonds makes for a delicious main, as does the Le Kesh couscous served with merguez chicken, lamb and vegetable stew. Traditional desserts such as baklava are available too, as well as a range of sandwiches for lighter bites. Afterwards, why not step out to the outdoor patio area complete with comfy armchairs and large cushions – a lovely place to recline with a shisha pipe set up with one of seven fruity flavours.
