The Blue Room is a world away from Nottingham's busy city centre and offers guests a truly unique dining experience, set in the historic Thoresby Hall Estate. It is easy to get lost in the wonder and history of Thoresby Hall, but the deepest indulgence has got to be the food itself. With a newlyappointed manager and head chef, the attention to detail is matched in every aspect by its magnificent setting.
Blue Room menu has been reinvented and showcases the best of local produce. Changing seasonally, guests can look forward to an exciting array of delicately prepared dishes, from traditional British fare to contemporary European cuisine. The quality and presentation of every meal is exceptional and you will feel like Lord and Lady of the manor whilst you dine in the decadent surroundings. The menu is complemented by a specially selected range of fine wines, brandies and liqueurs.
To dine in The Blue Room, drenched in a spectacular combination of blue silk damask wall covering and walnut and maple furnishings, is to experience unbridled luxury in a restaurant unmatched in its historic splendour.
The entire dining experience is enhanced by the exemplary and gracious service given by each member of the team. Although you will be treated like royalty, you won't pay a king's ransom here - appetisers range from £6 to £11 and entrees from £15 to £26.
The Blue Room is also available to hire for weddings, conferences or other functions. Thoresby Hall can host civil wedding ceremonies for intimate parties and is also open throughout the year for cream or afternoon teas.
