Restaurant & Wine Bar offers “a taste of the Mediterranean”, serving drinks, lighter snacks, lunch and evening meals seven days a week from 10am until late.

There is a spacious wine bar to the front of the restaurant for enjoying a drink, or you can just pop in for a coffee with friends.

The large split-level restaurant has an open kitchen so diners are able to see the chefs busy at work. And if you are celebrating something special, why not bring along a group of friends, as large parties are often catered for and generally revel in the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant? There is also an outdoor terrace to take advantage of on sunny days and warm evenings. Bringing the family along? Prego caters for families with a children’s menu.

The menu is extensive and varied with a large pizza selection, including calzones, all served with a side salad. Visit before 5pm, Monday to Friday and indulge in a pizza for the special price of £5.50.

If you fancy something more substantial choose from Prego’s specialities like pollo con proscuitto – chicken wrapped in Parma ham served in a wholegrain mustard and white wine sauce – Prego paella or sea bass al Cajun – Cajun spiced and basil pesto encrusted fillets of sea bass served with boulangere potatoes.
