Lashmores Restaurant is a 60-cover stylish eatery serving modern English cuisine in relaxed surroundings. This wellestablished venue offers consistently good quality and excellent service.
The à la carte menu offers something for every palate, with all ingredients sourced locally and prepared from scratch right on the premises. This includes a variety of fresh breads baked daily, flavoursome starters, delicious main courses and beautifully presented desserts.
The staff here simply cannot do enough for you; and they’re friendly and polite but unobtrusive.
The wine list is full of reasonably priced bottles, offering 35 varieties from 11 different countries (yes, I counted). These include Old World classics, exciting New World offerings along with more unusual choices from Lebanon, and the rare grape varieties of pink sauvignon and black shiraz.
Promotional evenings are also a big feature at Lashmores. A mid-week evening menu, available from Tuesday to Thursday, is very popular and great value for money – three courses for £17 and two for £14.50. What’s more, on Tuesdays you can bring your own wine and Champagne. Sunday lunch is priced at just £15.50 for four courses, offering a selection of traditional roasts as well as choices from the main menu.
Extensive car parking is available close by and booking in advance is strongly recommended.
