Dependable Bengal Paradise offers consistently delicious food, beautifully presented and served in a comfortable and stylish setting. The extensive menu comprises a wonderful selection to suit every taste, from traditional favourites to the chef’s recommendations and house specialities. Luckily, the friendly staff are more than happy to help the indecisive. Each dish we tried was spot-on – freshly cooked, subtly spiced and pleasing on the eye as well as the tastebuds. I began with the prawn puri and followed up with a gorgeous tikka masala, featuring tender pieces of duck. To accompany my curry, I chose a mushroom bhaji, pilau rice and sweet peshwari naan. Taking into account the quality of the food, the professional service and the stylish ambience, you might expect a meal here to make for an expensive evening out, but we were pleasantly surprised with the very reasonable price.
