At last, Sebastian has found the perfect location for his new venture – a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Offering the finest and freshest ingredients available, everything on the menu at Sebz (formerly New Bridge Brasserie) is freshly cooked to order.

The cuisine here ranges from a full à la carte menu, to a large selection of tapas, lunch and early evening menus, hot breakfasts, baguettes and pastries. This relaxed and informal eatery transforms you to your dream Mediterranean holiday location as soon as you pick up your fork.

The chefs deliver some of the freshest and most innovative culinary creations in the Cotswolds and specialise in fresh fish and grilled meats with traditional sauces such as the famous chicken piri-piri. Tucking into a Cataplana – a Portuguese mixed seafood platter of mussels, clams, calamari, langoustines, prawns and crab claws cooked in garlic, onion, tomato, pepper and coriander – or an Espetada – a mixture of bacon, chicken and beef on skewers – or a selection of tapas, makes it very easy forget that you are indeed in the UK and not dining on some sunny distant shore.

There are always traditional home-made desserts to make you the envy of your dining companions. And the daily specials such as three tapas for only £4.95, available at lunchtimes, and the offer of two courses for just £8.95 (lunch or evening) mean that as well as being a little corner of the Med in the centre of Gloucester, Sebz is also remarkably good value for money.
