The Carnelly Restaurant has a capacity of up to 80 guests and has ample room to accommodate large dining parties, as well as offering intimate tables for two with views over the gardens. The comfortable bar and lounge area is adjacent to the restaurant and is ideal for pre-dinner drinks or a relaxed evening enjoying the cosy ambience.
Head chef Jamie Pepper offers a mixture of contemporary European and British dishes using the finest local ingredients. From the menu you may want to start with lamb croquette with cauliflower puree, followed by the locally sourced Barnsley chop from the grill menu, accompanied by triple-cooked chips and a rocket and Parmesan salad.To finish, why not try the dark chocolate cheesecake served with coffee parfait and chocolate clusters. In the bar and lounge a traditional afternoon tea is served daily from 2pm until 5pm. Light lunch options are served from noon and can be found on the bar menu, including the popular Great British ploughman’s board.
