On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, the heart of The Deep aquarium in Hull is transformed into Two Rivers restaurant, a spot where you can dine alongside sharks, stingrays, turtles and sawfish to name but a few. You can enjoy three courses surrounded by a tranquil backdrop of sea creatures swimming by, creating a unique dining experience that cannot be missed. The menu is regularly updated, with every dish being inspired by locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Why not opt for the likes of naked dumplings or a Korean beef parcel to start? Follow this with a delicious main such as honey and mustard-glazed pork fillets, a succulent 10oz rib-eye steak or Yorkshire Dales duck breast. A number of vegetarian dishes are also available.

If you’ve a sweet-tooth, indulge in the likes of gooey vegan chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream or an indulgent orange cheesecake. To drink, opt for a sweet cocktail, refreshing beer or choose from a selection of spirits. You can fully unwind and take your time here, as the table is yours for the night. You could also choose to upgrade to the exclusive dining experience, where one couple are seated in the stunning viewing tunnel that is situated under the ten-metre deep Endless Oceans exhibit.
