Serving delicious home-cooked food in cosy environs, The Wolds Coffee House extends a warm welcome to all. During our visit, we enjoyed watching the friendly, cheery staff engage with customers like old friends - a hint to the venue's customer-oriented ethos. Sitting comfortably in the delightful tearoom, we indulged in hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows whilst perusing the extensive menu. I enjoyed flavourful, homemade carrot and orange soup to start, followed by warm chicken and bacon salad adorned with pine nuts and Parmesan shavings, which proved a lovely combination of flavours and textures. My dining companion tucked into a generous serving of chicken and mushroom omelette - a simple yet thoroughly delicious choice. Impressed by the quality of both the food and the service, we would certainly recommend The Wolds Coffee House to anyone seeking a pleasant, well-made meal
