Affable Yorkshireman Nick Young is building a great business at this stylish and accessible restaurant with rooms. Nick is a former construction manager, and, with wife Rebecca, swapped the deserts of Doha for the Dales. The entire team exudes a welcome which matches the warmth of the decor, while, in the kitchen, all meals are made using locally sourced produce and without a microwave in sight. We enjoyed starters of pan-seared queen scallops and the haddock and dill fishcakes, while, from a wide-ranging choice, the special of hearty trio of pork and the superb steak and ale pudding made for magnificent main courses. An exceptional Giggleswick elderberry cheesecake rounded off a delightful lunchtime meal in The Craven's striking Three Peaks setting.
