Named for the falcon’s symbolic affinity with success, The Falcon at Warmington began life as a phoenix. Rising from the ashes of the fire that decimated The Wobbly Wheel in September 2013, the team behind The Falcon made spectacular use of the opportunity to develop a contemporary yet cosy space – bringing traditional pub ideals to a 21st-century venue.
The menu also makes use of these values – you’ll find a great range of traditional pub classics including straight-from-the-grill burgers, steaks, and pies alongside contemporary plates such as braised belly pork with pork shoulder croquette, apple purée and roasted baby onions and a sumptuous Sri Lankan curry. No matter what you choose, you can be certain it will be delicious. On top of all this, you’ll find a range of menus encompassing children’s meals and lighter bites, with honey-roast ham, crispy chicken goujons, and pasta all freshly prepared to keep the little ones happy. Afternoon tea is served between 2.30pm and 5pm on weekdays. There is a great garden to the rear of the pub, where children can play and flowers bloom through spring and summer. The Falcon is perfectly situated to provide a spot of relaxation following a day out at one of the many local attractions, from the magnificent regality of Broughton Castle, to the spectacular walks of Burton Dassett Hill Country Park.
