The Stable first opened its doors in 2009 in a renovated 16th-Century stable block and has since grown into a fi rm favourite amongst both locals and holidaymakers. Whether you visit the original Stable in Bridport, stop by the waterside eatery in Poole, or pop into the two-floor Weymouth restaurant overlooking the beautiful harbour, delicious pizzas and an awe-inspiring range of ciders are guaranteed. Gourmet pizzas are lovingly handmade using the finest local ingredients, including Dorset Blue Vinney, Denhay Farm bacon, Dorset naga chillies and many more. Mouth-watering options include The Longhorn Jim, topped with marinated Longhorn ground beef sourced locally in Dorset, or, for the vegetarians, The Billy the Kid featuring Rosary goat's cheese, caramelised onions, field mushrooms, spinach leaves and roasted hazelnuts.
The cider selection is the star of the show at The Stable, with one of the most comprehensively stocked bars you'll find anywhere in the country, with an ever-changing selection of over 80 craft ciders, as well as a good selection of wine and a couple of real ales. There is even a cider tasting board, which comprises five cider samples to help you fi nd your perfect tipple, or you can always talk to the bar staff who will be happy to guide you.
Customers with special dietary requirements are well catered for, with gluten-free bases, and vegan and vegetarian toppings easily available on request, plus a choice of tasty salads. The dessert menu also presents some lovely treats, including warm apple crumble with clotted cream, and apple and ginger cheesecake. There's even a chocolate and mascarpone 'pizza pudding' available.
