Options of bar, grill, lunch and bistro menus mean that The New Inn caters for every type of diner, visiting for any occasion. If you've come to indulge in a three-course evening meal - which we recommend you do - then the bistro menu will be right up your street. Dishes such as Lyme Bay scallops with beetroot mousse and spinach-and-rarebit-topped flat mushroom are model New Inn starters. Follow up with the likes of slow-roasted local pork belly with parsnip purée, Dorset duck breast with cherry and Port jus, or - from the grill menu - matured 10oz rump steak with Madeira sauce. Meanwhile, the likes of Somerset goat's cheese bruschetta salad with red onion chutney is offered to satisfy the vegetarians among The New Inn's clientele.
