If you're dreaming of enjoying fine produce from the luscious fields of Far From the Madding Crowd country, all served up with professionalism and passion in an historic setting, then imagine no longer - visit the Beaminster Brasserie. Whether it's a light, healthy bite, a delectable dinner or a top-quality business lunch you're after, you'll find it here.
The brasserie, set within the 700-year-old BridgeHouse Hotel in Beaminster, is beautifully stylish and relaxed, and is a firm favourite with locals. Head chef Steve Pielesz has established a great following thanks to his modern, unpretentious cuisine. A blend of old Dorset favourites with his own original take on contemporary British fare has earned the West Dorset restaurant two AA rosettes, a Taste of the West Gold Award and Dorset Tourism's Hotel of the Year award. There's a choice of three unique eating areas - the lovely candlelit Georgian dining room, which is ideal for special occasions, cosy winter nights and Sunday lunch; a light, airy, contemporary conservatory; and the wonderfully Mediterranean al fresco dining area overlooking the walled garden. With heat-lamps and shawls provided, and tables set beneath a giant canopy, outdoor eating is a reality for much of the year. This top brasserie is a dining destination for all seasons
