Hanging baskets and a well-maintained period façade are the first things you'll take in upon arrival at this charming West Country inn. Step inside and it's a picture of cosy Devonshire life, complete with wood burner and traditional bar. Behind the bar, landlord Rob will pull you the perfect pint, before you take a seat and enjoy generous portions of home-cooked pub classics. A filling homemade steak and ale pie will set you up for a day's walking, while a 10oz sirloin steak with all the trimmings will refuel and satisfy in the evening. Lamb is sourced from their own farm whenever possible, so you're guaranteed a juicy cut. The specials board is always brimming with choice, while the dessert board's offerings will finish your meal in comforting homemade style. On Sundays, there's a choice of three roast meats, served with seasonal vegetables. There's also a function room for up to 80 revellers available for special occasions
