This popular themed bar opened in September 2017 in the wake of the popular BBC television show of the same name. Offering visitors the chance to be immersed in the Peaky Blinders experience, staff work in full 1920s garb, enveloping guests in a world of evocative memorabilia.
The standard evening menu caters for hearty appetites, and with regular themed evenings there’s always a tempting new dish to try. We plumped for the hearty Shelby bacon and cheese burger, and the succulent Kimber 8oz rump steak with a side of fries. Our visit coincided with curry night, and with a choice of five glorious curries, it’s not hard to see why this is a popular fixture. The vegan Thai curry is a delicious testament to Peaky Blinders’ commitment to catering for all dietary requirements. This versatile establishment also offers an unbeatable Sunday roast, complete with crisp roast potatoes and a pot of rich gravy – we’ll certainly be back to indulge.
As well as a great place to eat, this quirky venue is also an excellent bar with a lively, buzzing atmosphere. Situated on the historic Winner Street, just behind the Palace Theatre, this is the perfect spot to meet friends for a pre-show drink. With live entertainment, big-screen showings of major sporting events, and regular poker and quiz nights, you might be tempted to throw on a flat cap and make an evening of it.
