The Phoenix Chudleigh is not your average pub. Although not in the city, it has a modern urban vibe and serves gastropub food at fantastic prices. Pop in for a full English breakfast, grab a mid-morning coffee and cake, or visit in the evening for cocktails or a glass of Prosecco. The Phoenix has wonderful front-of-house staff and a skilled and committed team of chefs. A typical offering might include pan-fried butterfly prawns with fresh coconut salad and chilli mango to start, followed by pan-fried Crediton chicken supreme filled with chorizo and thyme and accompanied by smoked bacon and paprika cream sauce, Dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables.
