A haven of seasonal, homemade food, The Wild Fig Deli & Café can be found in the centre of Totnes, nestled amongst the various independent boutiques and shops that populate this charming market town.

The Wild Fig is a relaxed and intimate space – the perfect place to catch up with friends or chat to the friendly staff. Owners Janey and Wolfie are passionate about supporting local suppliers, and take full advantage of the great produce available on their doorstep – the speciality grade coffee is roasted locally by The Devon Coffee Company.

Everyone is welcome at The Wild Fig and it’s known as the place to go for delicious vegan and gluten-free food. Why not begin your day with a luxurious plate of eggs Royale, or a signature vegan breakfast of scrambled tofu topped with fried mushrooms and spinach on sourdough toast? If you stop by later, you might opt for a light lunch. There’s a range of freshly made sandwiches on offer such as the popular chicken, avocado and Wild Fig’s garlic pickle baguette, as well as seasonal salad plates, freshly made smoothies and seasonal hot dishes. If the sun is shining, why not opt for a takeaway salad box made to order, or perhaps try one of the delicious homemade cakes? All cakes are made in-house – expect the likes of the renowned gluten-free Tunisian orange cake as well as a wide range of vegan, gluten-free and raw cakes.
