Royal Oak

The Royal Oak in Malborough is a superb pub that deserves your custom. This is a place that doesn't much care for accolades (even though it has them, what with being Cask Marque accredited), preferring instead to focus on providing the best atmosphere for miles around - this is somewhere you can enjoy a great pint and homemade food. For the former you'll find a choice of around four real ales, and for the latter you can prepare to be delighted by self-taught chef Joseph Robinson's dishes. Each option on the menu draws inspiration from a different country's cuisine and features fresh and local produce, including tantalising options such as chargrilled Spanish herb pork chop with patatas bravas, and local mackerel escabeche with marinated red peppers.
