Resting in idyllic Ermington, against a backdrop of divine Devonshire countryside, this Parisian-themed, cottage-style restaurant invites you to sit beside its warm fireplace and listen to the sound of gentle music and customer chatter. The bubbly husband-and-wife team offer a great menu comprising a real range of multicultural delights - from Greek-in fluenced to French and Italian cuisine. The flavoursome mackerel salad got the evening off to a delicate start, while for my main, the crowd-pleasing lamb kleftiko more than satisfied. The succulent lamb - which fell off the bone - with traditional Greek salad was a marriage made in heaven. Italian ice cream terrine was a refreshing change for dessert and a pleasing finalé. Your first visit to this enchanting bistro certainly won't be your last.
