To dine at Aagrah Restaurants is to experience Kashmiri cuisine at its finest, yet also its most homely. This is largely thanks to the work of executive head chef Mohammed Aslam MBE, who has overseen all recipes that grace the group's menus today - tried-and-tested recipes that come from the beloved Sabir family. Indeed, during Aagrah Restaurants' inception, the menu was developed by the chefs cooking what they knew and loved best. As such, the food you'll find at Aagrah Restaurants is nowhere near your standard Indian experience or takeaway, as these are all dishes cooked from the heart and with passion. Furthermore, Aagrah Restaurants never hires chefs externally and only promotes from within, meaning that every single cook in the kitchen will have started at the bottom, developing a thorough understanding of every aspect of a dish, from its raw ingredients to its delicious, fragrant and healthy finished state.

So what to choose from a menu that's such a collection of riches? Chef Aslam MBE recommends the Hyderabadi dishes: an award-winning speciality that is best had with chicken, lamb or king prawns, and is full of distinctive flavours. The lal mas is also a favourite of his, and is a fiery Rajastani lamb dish cooked with fresh red chillies. Nevertheless, whatever dishes you choose to experience and whichever branch you experience them in, a fine meal is sure to be had
