This quirky tearoom in Wareham (there's also one in Dorchester) is a haven for fans of all things vintage, retro and recycled. As well as a charming tearoom in which to enjoy afternoon tea or a satisfying lunch, both ReLoved establishments boast a boutique full to the brim with an eclectic selection of curios, knick-knacks and vintage wares, including old books, revamped furniture, vintage clothes and locally handcrafted items.
ReLoved is a family-run business - Sandra is the chef and buyer, her husband Terry runs the Wareham shop, their daughter Aimée takes care of the visual merchandising and the front-of-house, and their son, Charlie, is the head chef. Everything served at the ReLoved tearooms is lovingly homemade using as much local produce as possible. Free-range egg and soldiers or sort-of eggs Benedict (homemade savoury scone with local smoked trout, poached free-range egg and homemade Hollandaise) are both an excellent way to start the day. For lunch, tuck into homemade quiche, homemade homity pie or a chunky sandwich, or indulge in a cream tea in the afternoon. Vegan and gluten-free options are always available too.
ReLoved hosts craft sessions on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings and the team are always open to new ideas for events. On Friday and Saturday nights the Dorchester tearoom becomes a bistro serving seasonal, French-inspired food - visit on a Saturday evening and you might even be lucky enough to be serenaded by Bernardo on the guitar
