Fishy Fishy Seafood Brasserie

Set just a few short steps from Poole Quay's beautiful marina, Fishy Fishy offers informal, relaxed dining by the glistening waters of the harbour. Fishy Fishy's simple yet stylish interior and outdoor eating area make it the perfect place to dine at any time of the day. The chefs pride themselves on using fresh local and seasonal produce in all their seafood dishes, from Channel-caught fish to local crab and lobster - reaping the benefits of the restaurant's close proximity to the coast. From the summer menu, we sampled some fantastic freshly prepared calamari followed by Poole lobster Thermidor and the best fish and chips we have tasted for some time. To finish, a simple tarte au citron to freshen the palate really did the trick. There are, of course, meat and vegetarian dishes to complement the core menu, although the extent of the seafood range means that for the fish aficionado, one visit is never enough
