The predominantly local clientele appreciate the convenient setting in one of Plymouth's residential areas, meaning it's the ideal place for a quick, casual drink, but also great if you fancy chewing the cud over something from the selection of fine real ales, choice lagers and modest wine collection available at the bar.

The food offering is what you might expect from a traditional pub - pies, steaks and burgers are among the popular options. The Sunday roast features a medley of fresh vegetables, roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire puddings and a different meat every week. Everything is made from scratch and of very good quality.
