The enthusiastic front-of-house team is happy to go the extra mile to ensure that every guest has a memorable visit. The food served features regional and seasonal ingredients from local producers, with a strong emphasis on great quality, great taste and sensible prices. Favourites on the menu include cider-battered fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding with homemade ice cream.

The Railway Inn benefi ts from being close to the Strawberry Line, a popular footpath with walkers and cyclists, and provides a welcome break for those venturing along it. Dogs are very much welcome, and are greeted with complimentary dog treats, although since this doesn’t suit everyone, the formal restaurant area is dog-free.
