Ye Olde Globe Inn

Ye Olde Globe Inn befits its picturesque location in the quaint village of Berrynarbor; full of antiques and curios, the inn exudes charm and character. It first became an inn in 1675, having been converted from two cottages dating back to 1280, and retains its olde-worlde atmosphere. The menu reflects these traditional surroundings and features both classic British favourites and dishes inspired by global cuisine. Begin with avocado and salmon parcels garnished with basil dipping sauce, perhaps followed by the braised slices of pork loin or homemade pie - both of which are regulars' favourites. Much of the meat and fish is sourced locally; meat is from Waytown Farm, which is just four miles away, and fish from nearby Ilfracombe. The team can also cater for private parties, with buffet and special menu options available. This is a pub for all seasons - there are log fires to get warm by in winter, and a secluded garden with beautiful views across the valley to take advantage of during summer
