A good local is a must for me; wherever I lay my hat, there needs to be somewhere nearby that's family friendly, provides a menu of traditional value-for-money pub grub and welcomes furry companions with open arms. Well, Pat and Bill's The Village Inn at Whipton is exactly that.
Bar snacks include piping-hot pasties and pies; and there are also lunchtime favourites like panini and burgers. If you're feeling really hungry, hearty mains like scampi and chips and sausages, mashed potatoes and gravy are all there for the taking.
