The Maltsters Arms
Pubs and Bars with Restaurants

Matt and Sam welcome you to this cheerful, family-run pub where even your four-legged friend is welcome. Everything at The Maltsters Arms is geared towards ensuring visitors of all ages have a great time; children will love running around in the beer garden, which has been designed with little ones in mind, and the pub has a playgroup every Wednesday. Grown-ups, meanwhile, will certainly be pleased with the bar’s offering. There are always four well-kept cask ales available, including the likes of St Austell’s Proper Job and Sharp’s Doom Bar, plus wine from Regency Wines in Exeter. Head chef Tom Edwards uses as many seasonal and local ingredients as possible to create the mouth-watering dishes on offer, such as the popular pan-fried liver and bacon with creamy mash and vegetables. The function room has plenty of space to cater for birthdays, weddings and christenings, and the large car park and nearby campsites make it convenient for those from further afield.
