Village Tearooms and Restaurant
Cafe-Restaurant

High Street Bourton-on-the-Water GL54 2AQ
The Village Tearooms and Restaurant is set in a beautiful location on the High Street of Bourton-on-the-Water. Views across the village green and over the river greet those lucky enough to find a table in this very busy and popular restaurant.
A traditional and simple menu of mainly home-cooked foods is proving extremely popular with both the visitors and locals of this picturesque village. The menu ranges from home-cooked roast beef dinners to fresh-baked baguettes filled with a fine array of different things, and the home-made soups are to die for.
There's a full range of puddings and sweets - again mainly home-made - and a wonderful selection of cakes too, all set in a traditional tearoom of yesteryear. Need help choosing? The staff are oh-sofriendly and helpful.
Before you leave, take time to study the wonderful old village photographs that adorn the walls - some were taken over 125 years ago. If you want to eat in the evenings, try their gorgeous candle-lit suppers on a Saturday night, but please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
