The King Street Brew House is an urban-style pub sitting in a prime spot on Welsh Back. It boasts its own microbrewery where the venue’s cask and keg beers, including White Trash Putin Free and Summit or Nuffin, are brewed. This range is complemented by an ever-changing array of guest craft brews hailing from the local area, throughout the UK and across the pond in America.
The brewery spans two floors, and is visible thanks to the glass walls. It is operated by head brewer Simon, whose imagination and brewing skills fuel the new varieties available at the King Street Brew House. In addition to allowing visitors to watch the brewing process, guest can book onto tours and sample the brewery’s wares.
On the street level, visitors are invited to gather with colleagues, friends and family, and enjoy the warm and welcoming ambience. While sipping your way through the excellent range of tipples, why not choose one of the enormous pizzas to share, or even brave it on your own? If you’re looking for something heartier, the mains are sure to impress. The selection changes regularly, in keeping with the season’s offering. Sunday sees an excellent-value roast take centre stage, followed by the weekly pub quiz. The King Street Brew House’s function room, The Tank Room, can be found on the venue’s lower ground floor and is a great place to hold a social event or watch live sports.
