Having opened in 2015, The Boardroom has gained an excellent reputation for serving an extensive selection of wine, beer and cider, in addition to great charcuterie hailing from the West Country, and locally sourced cheese made by artisan producers. Aptly named, everything at this proudly independent venue is served on heavy wooden boards.
Rather than a traditional kitchen, the area resembles more of a deli counter. Those wishing to watch the team at work can take a seat at the large bar, which dominates the ground floor and wraps around the open-plan kitchen area. The first floor is a great event space, and regularly plays host to wine and cheese tasting evenings, live music events, birthday parties and corporate functions.
Each week, the cheese and cured meat selection is sourced from the finest local artisan producers, ensuring the food available at The Boardroom is of the highest quality. The accompanying wine list features over 40 varieties. The temperature-controlled wine wall is kept fully stocked in order to cater for all tastes, from those with firm favourites to the more adventurous. A wide variety of beer and cider are also available, including the bar’s very own Boardroom lager.
The Boardroom offers a more relaxed and informal approach to your night out. Open until 2am, six nights of the week, The Boardroom doubles as a fantastic late-night bar, where all are welcome to enjoy The Boardroom’s laid-back, friendly vibe.
