The Arts House

The Arts House vision is to provide something truly unique - a café, bar, cinema and live music venue all under one roof. And it succeeds with style in Bristol's vibrant Stokes Croft area. Enjoy something from the café-cum-bar before venturing into the more eclectic downstairs room - used to host various weekly events ranging from board-game nights and cinema evenings, all the way through to cheese-and-wine-tasting events. The food on offer is all locally sourced and cooked on the premises, with a large emphasis on using fair-trade ingredients as well as providing many wheat-free and gluten-free options. While we enjoyed delicious tapas, we couldn't stop looking at the array of art on the walls - all of which is created by talented local artists and is available for purchase. My companion even bought a piece, rounding off a fantastic night that we'll be sure to repeat
