After a day sauntering around Bath’s artisan quarter, perhaps stop off at stylish Miller & Carter, on Milsom Street. Then move on to the sticky balsamic-and rosemary-glazed lamp rump, smoked barbecue ribs, handmade bacon and cheese steak burger topped with Monterey Jack cheese and crispy bacon, or the barbecue steak burger. If you can’t quite handle those mind-blowing main dishes, there are plenty of salads and pasta dishes, too. Miller & Carter are proud to say the meat is hand-picked from the best British butchers, and all of the hand-cut steaks are 30- day-aged. It’s worth saving room for the Belgian chocolate ganache, rose-sugar-glazed lemon tart, and blueberry and ricotta cheesecake, to name a few. Whatever you choose, it’s sure to impress.
