Its dishes employ spicy, heady blends of ingredients, making for an exciting and eclectic menu. The Sichuan-style chicken in green pepper sauce, hot and spicy crispy king prawns and fish with pickled vegetables exemplify the rich, tantalising dishes on offer. Similarly, the likes of shredded tripe in spicy sauce and shredded pig's ear with sesame oil are delicious ways to break your usual routine. Less adventurous diners needn't fear though; milder and more familiar options such as crispy sea bass in tomato sauce, stewed pork with soy sauce and fried shredded potato with peppers will see you right. The chefs and many of their ingredients are native to the Sichuan region, meaning you'll be in safe hands if you are looking to try something new. Whatever you choose though, you're guaranteed authenticity. My Sichuan also has private karaoke rooms for hire, which are fantastic for parties and celebrations
