The Merry Miller introduced a Sunday lunch carvery in 2007 and now serves three separate freshly prepared roasts on Sunday to cater to popular demand. Five different meats – including beef topside, leg of lamb, turkey breast, pork leg and gammon – are roasted to perfection and served with homemade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, honey-roasted parsnips, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, rich gravy and every sauce imaginable. If you have a craving for a midweek roast, The Merry Miller also serves a carvery on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There’s also a dinner menu full of delectable delights, which includes the likes of creamy Stilton mushrooms, confit duck leg with sundried tomato pesto, hearty venison casserole and chicken forestière. Desserts such as white chocolate and Baileys cheesecake, and lemon tart with raspberry sorbet provide a satisfying finale.
