The Crown Inn

The Crown Inn, a well-presented pub with gorgeous outdoor areas, prides itself on its sociable, community-orientated ethos. It's one of only two pubs in the village and offers plenty more to do than eat and drink, including a poker club, darts tournaments and a pub quiz, along with occasional live music. If you are in need of sustenance, you'll find plenty to satisfy on the superb menu, which is full to the brim with options from both England and around the globe. The half-Italian, half- French head chef specialises in steaks and, I must say, the juicy rib-eye with Port and Stilton sauce was one of the best I have ever had. Luckily, there are six guest rooms available, which offer a comfy place to rest your head after indulging in a hearty meal and a tipple or two from The Crown's excellent selection of quality beverages.
