Following an impressive refurb, the venue is stylish but comfortable, with huge windows that let in lots of natural light. There's a relaxed, informal feel to this popular seafood restaurant, and it's perfectly situated for those taking a break from shopping in the Gunwharf Quays outlet village.

The food is simple, with fresh, expertly prepared seafood at the forefront of the menus. Should you visit for breakfast or brunch, you can look forward to smoked haddock with a perfectly poached egg as well as hearty full Scottish breakfasts. At lunch you can make the most of the set menu, with starters such as crabcakes or potted Scottish peppered mackerel, and main courses of chorizo and seafood fregola. It's not all seafood though - meat lovers can plump for the flat-iron steak. For dessert, tuck into a slice of indulgent salted caramel cheesecake with stem ginger ice cream. The set menu is available until 6pm every day and is remarkably good value, priced at just £10.95 for two courses and £12.95 for three. From the main menu, you can also choose to sample oysters and decadent dishes like whole baked lobster.
